Oncology Social Worker

Oncology Social Workers are part of the oncology team and provide a wide range of services directly to persons with cancer and their families including counseling, support, education, and resource identification. They connect persons diagnosed with cancer, and their families, with essential community, state, national, and international resources.

At the Community Cancer Center, our masters-level oncology social worker is clinically licensed by the State of Illinois and certified by the Board of Oncology Social Work.
