Giving Opportunities

At the Community Cancer Center Foundation we are appreciative of the many individuals, businesses and organizations that provide us with gifts of monetary donations, time, and talent. If you are interested in joining their ranks there are many ways to support our mission and efforts.

Annual Donations

Annual donations can be directed toward a specific program or service, or you can leave your gift unrestricted so we may use it where the need is the greatest. Make a commitment to make an annual gift by cash, check or credit card. Check with your employer’s human resources department to see if your company has a matching gift program. Some corporations match dollar for dollar or even double their employee’s gifts.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts

You may commemorate the life of a special person in your life by making a gift to the Foundation. Such a gift may be made to memorialize a friend or family member or to express appreciation to a loved one or friend by making a gift in their honor. Tribute gifts can also honor individuals celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, or other special occasions.

Securities

When you donate stock or other securities to the Community Cancer Center Foundation, you can take a charitable income tax deduction for the current value of the stock on the date it is donated. Check with your financial planner to see if a gift of appreciated securities would be the best way for you to support the Foundation and contact the Foundation office at 309-451-2214 to transfer securities.

Planned Gifts

Planned giving is a method of donating that incorporates your gift with your tax, estate planning and /or financial goals. There are many options when making a planned gift to the Community Cancer Center Foundation.

Capital Campaigns

To keep its promise of being a leader in cancer care for generations to come, the Community Cancer Center Foundation will be embarking on a building campaign in the very near future.

The Center is proposing to expand its space by 39,500 square feet, more than doubling its current size, to enhance the quality and experience of care as well as to accommodate more patients. More detailed information will be forthcoming as the campaign proceeds.

Special Fundraising Events

Fund-raising events throughout the year and throughout the community raise thousands of dollars each year to support research and patient care. The Community Cancer Center is committed to maintaining a strong relationship with the local community through events and partnerships. Check the Upcoming Events section on our homepage to see what is planned this month. We encourage you to attend and support these fund and friend raising events!
