Support Groups
Support groups foster a sense of community among people affected by cancer. Patient support groups provide a safe place to share thoughts and feelings with others dealing with similar concerns and emotions.
Sponsored and facilitated by the Community Cancer Center staff, support groups at the Community Cancer Center are free of charge and are open to anyone in the community, even if they are receiving treatment at a different facility. Specific support groups are listed below. Some groups require pre-registration and most groups meet at the Community Cancer Center unless noted otherwise.
For general cancer support, or to identify groups for diseases or affiliations not listed here, please contact the social worker at (309) 451-8500.
